Parga
An amphitheatre of pastel houses around a bay, with the remains of an 11th-century Venetian castle on the headland — built by residents against pirates and the Ottomans. Below it, narrow streets, a small island in the bay with a church to the Virgin Mary, and Venetian and French-era buildings. The beaches are a five-minute walk from the centre, so 2–2.5 hours is enough for lunch and a swim, or the castle and a walk, but not comfortably both.
The Sivota Islands and the Cave
On the way back the boat threads the islets off Sivota and enters a sea cave — the on-board guides cover the geology and the wrecks along this stretch of coast, which is what the reviews single out. Sivota itself is a working fishing village with tavernas along the harbour.
The Blue Lagoon
The last stop before Corfu — a sheltered inlet among the islets where shallow water over pale sand goes bright turquoise. The boat drops anchor and you swim from it. There is nothing ashore here; it is a swim stop, and it is the one every boat on this coast is really selling.

Is Parga worth a day trip from Corfu?
If you want a town rather than only a swim stop, yes — it is the only boat on this coast that puts you ashore in one. Parga gives you an 11th-century Venetian castle, a bay ringed with pastel houses and beaches five minutes from the centre. The cost is the length of the day: 10–12 hours against 4–7 on the boats that go only to Sivota and the Blue Lagoon.
How long do you get in Parga?
Two to two and a half hours, according to the operator. That is enough for lunch and a wander, or the castle and a swim, but not comfortably all three. The beaches are about five minutes’ walk from the town centre, so a quick swim is realistic if you skip the climb to the castle.
