Absolutely worth the early start. Meteora is breathtaking — photos don’t do it justice. The monasteries on the rocks are something you have to see in person. Our guide was knowledgeable and the lunch was lovely.
One of the best things we did in Greece. The drive through the mountains was scenic and the monasteries are unforgettable. Well organised from start to finish, with a comfortable coach and a great guide.
Meteora is stunning and I’m glad we went, but be ready — it’s a very long day with a lot of time on the ferry and coach. Worth it if you know what you’re signing up for. Bring something to do for the travel legs.
